Linda Boland at the Audi quattro cup at the Royal Golf Club

 

Riffa, January 26th 2020: Linda Boland won the third qualifying round of the Audi quattro Cup Bahrain series 2020.

Linda Boland came on top in the third qualifying round of the Audi quattro Cup Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Club. The scores returned by the players showed that the course was playing slightly more difficult than usual. However, Linda still managed to walk off the course after making a solid 36 points using her adjusted 75% handicap.

 

A total of 124 people registered for the world’s most prestigious and renowned amateur golf tournament sponsored for the 6th consecutive year by Audi Centre Bahrain, the official dealer for Audi in Bahrain.

The tournament consists of one more qualifying round that will be played during the coming months with final set for April. 

 

The series winners will have the opportunity to represent Bahrain at the world finals –a full expense paid trip by Audi Bahrain. Last year, Steven Hill and Ali Al Kowari represented Bahrain at the Schwarzsee Golf Club in Kitzbühel, Austria. 

 

The Audi quattro Cup has developed into the biggest worldwide amateur golf tournament series. More than 1.8 million golfers have competed a total number of more than 15,336 tournaments throughout the 27 years.

Behbehani Brothers Mopar Technician wins Best FCA Technician Award in the Middle East Region

Behbehani Brothers FCA Master Technician Mr. Prashant Mayekar bags the 1st place award for the best FCA Technician in the Middle East.

Behbehani Brothers were a part of The FCA Middle East 2020 Skills competiton held in Dubai, UAE. More than 640 technicians from 13 different dealerships in the region were invited and were competing in different categories.

Mr. Mayekar wins the 1st place award with prize money of 10,000 AED.

Behbehani Brothers opens new flagship showroom for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & Ram vehicles in Bahrain

Sitra, Bahrain: Behbehani Brothers, the dealership for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram (CJDR) vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain, have launched their new flagship showroom in Sitra. The fully CI compliant showroom is designed to increase the reach and visibility of the CJDR brands and improve customer experience.

With an expansive floorspace of 1,750sqm, the state-of-the-art Sitra showroom enjoys a prime location in a highly prominent area adjacent to Sitra petrol station, and will showcase the entire range of high-quality passenger cars, SUVs and pickup trucks from the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram brands.

The CDJR Service Centre will remain at its current location.

Commenting on the opening, Sam Yacoub, General Manager of CJDR brands for Behbehani Brothers, said: “The opening of our new showrooms represents the next major phase of the expansion and growth plans of Behbehani Brothers, and demonstrates our commitment to Fiat Chrysler Automotive Middle East in improving accessibility to CDJR products for our customers in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

Russell Mack and Riyad Al Saie win the Audi Sport National Day tournament

Riffa, December 19th 2018: Bahraini, Riyad Al Saie and playing partner Russell Mack won the Audi Sport National Day tournament hosted by Audi Centre Bahrain at the Royal Golf Club.

The pair achieved a fantastic first day score of 41, followed by 43 on day two, giving them an overall aggregate score of 84. Two teams clinched the runner up spot in the prestigious tournament, Mark Bateman and Abdulla Saeed with scores of 37 and 45, giving a total of 82, and Nasser Al Fedhala with the playing partner Jamie Elson with scores of 44 and 38 for a total of 82.The 36 hole tournament, played over two days on the Club’s Montgomery championship golf course, was established 17 years ago to celebrate Bahrain’s National Day activities by promoting friendship and unity between Bahraini’s and expatriate residents of the Kingdom. The event featured 54 expat golfers paired up with 54 Bahraini payers was played in the two player better ball Stableford format.

 

The event, sponsored by Audi Sport for the fifth consecutive year has grown to be one of the golfing calendars highlight of the year. Geetan Jessen, Dealer Principal for Audi Centre Bahrain commented ‘The camaraderie was brilliant, the golf, competitive but very friendly, and everyone had a great time during and after the event’

 

A range of Audi vehicles were showcased around the golf course for the duration of the two day event which concluded with a prize giving ceremony and luncheon in the Club’s Majlis facility. A chance to win an Audi A3 as a hole-in-one prize on the 16th hole went unclaimed. Other side contests included Nearest the Pin and Hit in the circle. Abdulla Khalifa Isa won Nearest the pin on hole 7 and Rashid Musbah on hole 12. Abdulla Al Yaqoob, Abdulla Khalifa Isa and Rashid Musbah won the hit in the circle.
